This is one of my all time favorite brunch spots. This spot is the only thing I look forward to when it comes to being in eastern Washington. Nothing on the brunch menu will disappoint you, straight out of a Pinterest board.

One of my top places to visit whenever I’m in the area. Never been disappointed. Every time I come here it’s been amazing food and service. The Monte Cristo and the Chick and Waffles are my two favorite dishes. The atmosphere is very unique with lots of antique decor with lots of outdoor plants.

I ventured back to Spokane to attend my High School reunion (40th!) and my Dad suggested we go to a great breakfast place he knew out near Cheney. He is right, Chaps is a great spot especially if it’s warm enough to sit outside. The decor is interesting with some religious influences along with home style decorations. As expected, the line to order was very long and it took at least 30 minutes to get to the front. But once we ordered, our food came quickly and it was excellent. I got oatmeal and was so wrapped up I didn’t pay much attention to what other family members got. This spot is certainly off the path but well worth the effort to get here. The prices are reasonable too. Michael Delehanty Compass Real Estate

Stopped in for dinner, got the pork chop fritter, the Yukon gold potatoes were amazing. The server was stretched pretty thin but did great. The vibe is eclectic, prices are reasonable. Beautiful outdoor patio for nice weather.

We recently moved to Spokane, and this has quickly become our new favorite family spot. The European-inspired atmosphere is simply charming, and the quality of the furniture is top-notch. Every detail, from the design to the lighting and the vintage windows, really adds to the overall vibe. We couldn’t have asked for anything better. Not only does it look great, but it also tastes amazing. The portions are generous, the prices are fair, and every dish is incredibly satisfying. I have to take a moment to mention their vanilla bean crème brûlée. I’ve tried crème brûlée at many restaurants in Seattle, but none compare to the one I just had at Chaps – it’s in a league of its own! And, of course, the service was exceptional. Our server, Haley (I hope I’ve spelled her name right), was absolutely wonderful. She was incredibly sweet and attentive, checking in with us regularly to ensure our table was clean, our food was served on time, and our water glasses were always full. She was polite, friendly, and handled all our questions with such care – we couldn’t have asked for better service! As I said, this is now our favorite place to visit! If I could give 10 stars to this restaurant, I definitely would !

Update: went for restaurant week. Ordered beet salad 4way, had pickled beets, roasted golden and regular beets, fried beets, and pureed beets with pistachio goat cheese over arugula was ok. Not my favorite. The 2nd course I had beef wellington with wilted greens and fingerling potatoes was 5stars delicious For dessert I had gooey lemon butter cake with raspberry it was ok not as gooey as I would have liked. Cold and a bit tough but yummy flavor and the only raspberry I tasted was the one fresh berry on top. The fall flavors are in. Pumpkin crossiant, cranberry bliss bar, apple butter muffin like crossiant so yummy as always

Truly a delight and easily one of our favorite breakfast spots in all of Spokane and CDA. The food is exceptional every time and they have a unique assortment of menu items that helps it stand it from other breakfast and lunch spots. The Brie/bacon/arugula sammy is to die for and they also make a mean Monte Cristo. Funny forget to add a fresh baked cinnamon roll to any order to split with the table. SO yummy!!!

Outstanding food quality, elevated breakfast favorites here in a casual and comfortable setting with ample indoor and outdoor seating and friendly, efficient service. Oh yeah and the cappuccino is on point! I love this place! Get in line at the counter to order. They assign you a table number as you're waiting in line. Order. Head to your table and they bring everything to you. Get there early if you can because this place gets busy. I had the best eggs Benedict I've ever tasted. Every detail perfect. The fresh baked English muffin, the decadent hollandaise sauce, perfectly poached eggs, and high quality ham all worked in harmony to create eggs Benny bliss! Kudos to the kitchen! And the Maple Pecan Scone I tasted was excellent.
